S.T.A.R. Puppy Class
Puppies can be chaos, but they don't have to be! Learn all the life hacks, tips, and tricks for raising a puppy that doesn't make you want to pull your hair out. You'll get hands on experience and learn the science behind puppy behavior, how to speak your dog's language, and how to make training a fun activity for the both of you!
Canine Good Citizen
Our Canine Good Citizen classes are designed to empower you and your dog with the skills and confidence needed to be exemplary companions in any setting.
Successful participants will earn a prestigious Canine Good Citizen certification from the American Kennel Club. a mini trophy, Pickles Playland certificate, and a lifetime of unlimited bragging rights.

COMPREHENSIVE DOG WELLNESS
Before Pickles Playland, we were Moxie’s Pet Services. We’ve been caring for dogs in the Kirkland, Redmond, and Bellevue area since 2012. The Playland’s curriculum was written by our Chief Dog Officer Nikki Johnson, a Canine Behavioralist with over 25 years of experience working with dogs.

We require Bordetella, Distemper, Rabies, and a clean fecal test performed within the last year to keep all the pups at daycare safe.
SCHEDULE A BEHAVIORAL ANALYSIS

Behavioral analyses cost $20 and are available at all locations. We’ll evaluate your dog’s temperament, manners, and kennel behaviors to see if they’re a good fit for Pickle’s play groups.
YOUR DOG’S FIRST VISIT TO PICKLES PLAYLAND
Your dog’s 1st visit is considered their behavioral analysis. Once you’ve signed up on the client portal & uploaded proof of vaccine and fecal test, we’ll help you schedule the behavioral analysis. This is designed to ensure the safety of all pups by introducing only one new dog to the Pickle family at a time.

Here’s what to expect for your dog’s first visit:
The behavioral analysis is $15 and lasts for 4 hours. Drop off your pup at the Playland location of your choice. This allows us to get to know your dog and help them to settle and adjust to the daycare environment.
We will bring your dog to an area where they can see the other dogs playing and give them time to decide when they want to join the group. This helps to make your dog less novel to the dogs already in the play group, and ensures your dog isn’t getting pushed past their comfort level.

We do our best to tailor the experience to how we can make your dog feel most comfortable. During the analysis, we analyze their temperament and personality type, as well as things like potential food, toy, dog, and human aggression.

We will call or text you 2 hours and 4 hours after you drop off your dog. This allows us to give you an update half way through and at the end of the analysis.
Dogs and puppies that acclimate best with shorter visits might have a shorter behavioral analysis. This is something we can discuss at drop off and during the 2 hour phone call.
If your dog does well, and enjoys their time in the group, you’ll be welcome to leave them until we close, for no additional cost.
