We go above and beyond to care for your pup

Your dog should not learn bad behaviors at daycare! Pickles Playland is a ‘structured daycare’. Our goal is to teach dogs to be well behaved, and we tailor our structure daily to the group that comes to visit.
We accomplish structure by using ‘behavioral maintenance’ techniques like teaching the dogs to sit or stand calmly at door ways, not to bark at people or other dogs and not to jump up. Our team goes through annual training and constant continuing education to help teach every dog happy and healthy behaviors while they visit us. We also keep close eye on all dogs visiting us to help ensure only the friendliest and safest dogs play with your dog.

We remove all toys and bowls each night and sanitize them to ensure everything is safe and clean for the next day’s play groups. We also sanitize all beds and mats in an industrial human grade washing machine.

We require dog first aid and CPR training for all of our Pickle Crew. Team members go through annual classes to ensure they stay up to date and are ready for any possible emergency.

Enriching the lives of dogs is the driving factor in bringing a Pickles Playland location to your community. We also enjoy fun events and sharing stories about dogs with other dog owners and lovers. We strive to be a community gathering place and we work with many people & businesses in the pet industry to bring you fun pet friendly activities and educational events.

We take safety seriously at Pickles Playland. All locations have camera security systems, and we have strict protocols for doorway and stranger safety.
We teach the dogs to sit and wait at doors every time they arrive and leave. We also have a multi gate and door system to prevent dogs from escaping. Stop by for a tour at 6:45pm Mon-Fri. We’d be happy to show you how the system works. We don’t allow tours during daycare hours so strangers won’t have access to your dog while at Pickles Playland.
To minimize stranger danger, none of our locations keep cash on hand or accept cash transactions.
Our Member Portal system is 100% cloud based and passes all regulations for data storage and security against hackers. We also keep our site certificate up to date.

We use high grade lavender aromatherapy to help each dog feel relaxed, comfortable and safe. Whenever possible, we use cleaners that are natural and plant-based instead of harsh chemicals. Our mop water is filled with citrus essential oils to repel insects such as fleas & ticks. Planted inside Pickles Playland you’ll find citronella and lavender plants, which repel insects like fleas & ticks, and to help purify the air.
