First Aid Class

ADVANCED

Pickles’ advanced first aid classes are designed to empower you to not only have the readiness to save a life but to prevent emergencies.

This is a GREAT class to gift to any dog owner or pet professional! Looking to give your dog sitter or dog walker a gift? Ask them if they’d like this class. As a professional luxury in-home dog care professional who offered services nation wide, before opening Pickles Playland, I would have LOVED to have a client gift me this knowledge!

The fine print:

  1. Quiet calm dogs welcome to join. If your dog is disruptive to the class we might offer you a kennel, ask you to place them in your car, or ask if someone can come pick them up. Class time is limited and disruptive dogs can hinder our ability to help the rest of the students.

  2. If you do not pass you’re welcome to re-take the class or schedule a private class.

  3. Dogs must have at least ONE clean fecal test within the last year, TWO bordetella, TWO distemper, and ONE rabies vaccine before joining class.

  4. These classes are for people 21yrs+ only (it’s a state law, not ours). Please register in the client portal (see client portal button above) to reserve your spot in class.

  5. Additional private sessions available upon request at $100/session. These can take place in your home or at one of the Pickles Playland locations.

  6. Please refrain from recording our classes. The information in these classes is not widely distributed on social media and/or recorded because we have chosen not to. If you have questions or want to record a specific training technique for you and your dog we can schedule a private session to do so.

  7. Cancelation policy: We only accept 15 people per class. Reservations are non-refundable for any reason. If you miss a class you can choose to schedule a private training session if you’d like, at the standard rate of $100 per private session.
